Diversity Initiatives & Resource Centers (DIRC) support students by building communities that foster a sense of belonging, by creating opportunities to engage in self-discovery and critical inquiry and serving as a hub for resources in inclusive and affirming spaces. We create engagement opportunities that empower, educate, and activate students in the areas of social justice, equity, and anti-racism. We are home to eight identity-based resource centers including the African American Resource Center, the Asian and Pacific American Resource Center, the Latinx Community Resource Center, the Losquadro Keller LGBTQ Center, the Titan Dreamers Resource Center, the Women’s Resource Center, the upcoming Southwest Asian and North African Resource Center, and the Native and Indigenous Resource Center that is under development.
Support us as we expand to serve more students through new resource centers and high impact initiatives.
Your support will assist DIRC in creating brave learning and community-building opportunities for students who frequent our spaces, utilize our resources, and benefit from our leadership, development, and engagement initiatives. It will also open new opportunities to expand co-curricular learning to a larger subset of students through cultural competency education and social justice training as well as new leadership programs. Together, we can continue to support the experiences of our Titans with historically marginalized identities from underserved communities to transform the Titan experience.
