Work Achieve Volunteer Excel (W.A.V.E.)
Work Achieve Volunteer and Excel (W.A.V.E.) is a community service club here at CSUF, our mission is to perform volunteering opportunities throughout Orange County; having done activities like food distributions, beach cleanups, aiding local farmers, etc., we seek out and contribute at a vast array of events to support the community.
Through your donations, we intend to:
- Buy new supplies. As our club often organizes our own clean up events, we have to use our supplies of bags, gloves, and grabbers; yet with the new resources, we would be able to buy more supplies and in turn equip all our volunteers, rather than only some. Another notable event that would benefit from this allocation are our Tabletop events wherein we donate bookmarks and drawings our members have colored; we would be able to buy more colored pencils/crayons and markers as a means to give further vibrance onto the art.
- Fund social events. We often gather members together for hangouts and to foster friendships; within these events, we would be supplying all the food and activities to make the club’s own members feel further connected in our own little community.
