African American Resource Center

The African American Resource Center (AARC) at Cal State Fullerton is dedicated to supporting Black student success, honoring Black culture, and cultivating a campus environment where students feel a strong sense of belonging. Through culturally grounded programming, academic and career support, and wellness-centered initiatives, the AARC creates intentional spaces for students to grow academically, professionally, and personally. All students, regardless of race, sex, color, ethnicity, or national origin, are welcome the AARC.

  • Strengthening Programs & Student Support: Your generosity helps sustain and expand core AARC initiatives such as Black History Month programming, Beyond Boundaries workshops, alumni mixers, and campus resource fairs. These programs connect students to academic support, career exploration opportunities, and vital campus and community resources that support persistence and success.
  • Expanding Financial Access & Student Opportunities: Donations help remove financial barriers to participation by supporting program costs, educational opportunities, and access to experiences that enrich students' academic and personal journeys.
  • Honoring Black Culture & Community: Your support allows us to continue hosting culturally affirming experiences including the Pan Afrikan Recognition Celebration (PARC), cultural heritage celebrations, and community-building events that honor Black history, creativity, and identity while fostering belonging and connection on campus.
