Daily Titan

The Daily Titan is Cal State Fullerton’s student-run news organization, publishing the award-winning Daily Titan newspaper. Our organization consists of an editorial team and an advertising team who work collectively to produce, fund, and publicize our newspaper.

As one of the few daily collegiate newspapers in the United States and the only daily newspaper in the California State University system, the Daily Titan uniquely prepares students for successful careers in journalism, graphic design, sales, marketing, and advertising. In addition to our print publication, our team focuses efforts on our website, e-newsletter, and social media (@thedailytitan) to provide the community with digital access, as well as a platform to interact with our campus. In addition, we have expanded our print distribution to Downtown Fullerton to reach more members of our community.

Daily Titan graduates can be found working in newsrooms for The New York Times, Washington Post, Associated Press, CNN, Univision, USA Today, as well as leading advertising agencies throughout the United States.

We have faced our share of recent challenges, from campus closures due to the pandemic to a severe national downturn in print advertising. Donations to the Daily Titan will go to a variety of initiatives that are designed to help our organization thrive on the cutting edge of modern journalism and advertising and we appreciate your support.
