The String Program in the School of Music at Cal State Fullerton offers a rich variety of performance opportunities for string students—of violin, viola, cello, and string bass—at both the bachelor’s and master’s level. Talented students receive a specialized yet comprehensive education—private applied lessons, performing in the University Symphony Orchestra and in chamber music—with world-class faculty and guest artists from the professional music world. String graduates have careers in education and professional performance groups.
School of Music serves a diverse group of talented students including those from underserved, low-income families, offering them a high-quality professional education.
