The Brass & Percussion Program in the School of Music (SoM) at Cal State Fullerton offers a rich variety of performance opportunities for students on trumpet, horn, trombone, tuba, percussion, at both the bachelor’s and master’s level. Talented students receive a specialized yet comprehensive education, with private applied lessons and diverse ensemble performances—wind symphony, symphonic winds, orchestra, jazz bands and combos, and chamber ensembles—with SoM’s nationally-recognized faculty and guest musical artists. Brass & percussion graduates have careers in education and professional performance groups.
School of Music serves a diverse group of talented students including those from underserved, low-income families, offering them a high-quality professional education.
