The CSUF Center for Healthy Neighborhoods is housed at Richman Park in Fullerton where faculty and staff trained CSUF students to provide guidance and tools for marginalized families to break through systemic barriers which hold them down and to help motivate them to unleash their voice and human potential. The Center is a living laboratory to train a future bilingual workforce in disciplines related to education, child and adolescent studies, human services, medical care/nursing, psychology, public and mental health, public administration, and social work.
As the Center continues to support the community, your gift can have a huge impact on the level of service we can offer in 2021. Many changes due to COVID safety regulations are being made for re-occupancy in the fall, including acrylic barriers and PPE provisions. However, we fall short financially in providing desks and chairs that meet required safety regulations. A gift of $325 will purchase a desk and chair for the center. With a need of at least 40, your donation will take us one step closer to helping engage in meaningful work and educational practices that change lives in the Titan community.
Thanks to a generous matching gift sponsor we are excited to announce:
When 20 gifts of $325+ are made, a bonus gift of $5,000 will be unlocked for the Center to help meet our goal of purchasing 40 desks and chairs!
And on top of that - all gifts will be matched dollar for dollar up to $5,000 which means your gift will have DOUBLE the impact.
