Often referred to as the "home away from home," LGBT Queer Resource Center provides a number of educational and community opportunities for students to engage in, centering the identities of LGBTQ+ individuals. Much of our principle programming revolves around not only the education of the various identities within our community, but also finding community resources to support and affirm our experiences. Additional funding would greatly support our center by allowing for us to continue to provide creative, impactful programming and resources to support LGBTQ+ Titan students. This year, we aim to expand our Gender Affirming Closet clothing options, establish a fund for gender affirming health care (e.g. Hormone Replacement Therapy), and expand our peer mentorship program to include more professional development and leadership fellowship funds for students.
Donations to any of our Diversity Initiatives and Resource Centers will be matched dollar for dollar up to $4,000. Thank you to Diane Shammas for your matching gift!
