Established in 2014, the Roy Lopez Scholarship for Valor is open to all CSUF Military Science Cadets in their junior or senior year. Cadets must overcome a wide range of personal, academic or physical hardships on the way toward becoming an Army officer. The scholarship was established by Adriana Mraz and family in memory of CSUF Titan Battalion cadet Roy Anthony Lopez, to provide assistance needed to complete their academic goals.
The Roy Lopez scholarships are granted through the University’s Army ROTC Titan Battalion, an award-winning squadron that has commissioned nearly 300 cadets as second lieutenants in the active-duty Army, the Army National Guard and the Army Reserve.
