Latino Journalists of CSUF is a student chapter of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists (NAHJ). Our main goal is to promote diversity within the newsrooms and provide networking opportunities with professionals in the industry such as reporters, news directors and job recruiters. In addition, we offer various panels throughout the academic year to enhance the journalistic and interpersonal skills of our members.
Any funds raised will make a positive impact on current and future members by helping to give underrepresented students opportunities that aren’t easy to access, like:
- Visiting newsrooms in Southern California
- Attending journalism conferences
- Creating a scholarship for our many members in need
