Titan Rover is composed of students ranging from the following college disciplines: Engineering and Computer Science, Natural Sciences and Mathematics, as well as Business. Our team works year-round to design, build, and test a Mars Exploration Rover prototype with the intent of competing in the annual University Rover Challenge (URC), at the Mars Desert Research Station, just outside of Hanksville, Utah. As competition requirements toughen, the team's reliance on generous donations cannot be understated.
Our team this year is in need of new equipment and a myriad of different materials. Currently, our mobility team (team of students responsible for designing and building the structural frame of the rover) and controls team (team of students responsible for designing and using hardware to control the rover) are planning to begin prototyping and testing a mock rover; this is to ensure that our rover has a great design and push us to our manufacturing phase or allow the team to have subsequent time to redesign the rover if the need arises. In order to bring this to fruition, our team needs funding to prototype our rover; thus, our kind request for any generous donation.
With increasing costs each year, Titan Rover seeks support from the community. We pride ourselves on showing our work to the community. Should you choose to donate to our team, in return, we would display your name on our donation page located on our website.
Thank you for all your support!
