SchoolsFirst Center for Creativity and Critical Thinking at Cal State Fullerton is a professional development education center that has been serving high school, middle school and elementary school teachers since 2008. Annually over 500 teachers are served at the center making a meaningful impact in the lives of teachers and students in the community.
The Center provides innovative professional development opportunities for teachers, which in turn impacts the students in our community. Through collaboration with the College of Education, Elementary and Bilingual Education faculty, Special Education faculty, Instructional Design and Technology faculty, and Secondary Education faculty, the Center provides inclusive, inquiry-based instructional programs that integrate science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM) while supporting the innovative instructional practices for all teachers. The Center also supports the community at large by providing an annual education conference focusing on educational technologies such as virtual reality, augmented reality and the inclusion of STEAM content to support the next generation of educators through hands-on instructional development experiences.
Investing in teachers is an investment in the future! By donating to the SchoolsFirst Center for Creativity and Critical Thinking, you will contribute to positive outcomes for our students and teachers!
