The mission of the Women’s Leadership Program (WLP) is to explore the challenges that cause under-representation of women within top leadership positions and offer creative solutions for select female students in the CSUF Mihaylo College of Business & Economics. The program helps prepare female students to overcome barriers to their advancement into top leadership positions. To this end, participants attend six intensive workshops over the academic year. Each workshop is focused on skills necessary to overcome specific barriers and challenges that are likely to be experienced, and to ultimately help students prepare to ascend into leadership over the course of their career. To enhance leadership development, participants receive five individual coaching sessions with a certified professional coach.
