The Daily Titan is Cal State Fullerton’s student-run newsroom and advertising sales team, publishing the award-winning Daily Titan and digitally via dailytitan.com.
As one of a few dozen daily collegiate newspapers in the United States and the only daily in the California State University system, the Daily Titan uniquely prepares students for successful careers in journalism. Daily Titan grads can be found at The New York Times, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, Associated Press, CNN, Reuters, USA Today and in some of the newest cutting-edge web-based newsrooms. Daily Titan alumni have reported from Havana, Milan, Baghdad, Kabul, Moscow, Sydney, Paris, London, Beijing, Cairo – most everywhere news has happened.
Facing a severe national downturn in advertising and significantly reduced support from student fees, the Daily Titan has unique challenges. Donations will go to a variety of initiatives that are designed to help it thrive on the cutting edge of modern journalism.
