Asian American Journalists Association

The Asian American Journalists Association (AAJA) - California State University, Fullerton Student Chapter offers a community for journalists of color. As a part of the national AAJA, our recently established chapter encourages diversity and opportunity here at Cal State Fullerton. Sharing our stories and perspectives with Titans will enrich the campus culture through the practices of journalism and creative expression.

Your gift prepares students to excel in their future journalism and communication careers. Donations to support AAJA will provide:

  • Coverage for students' national membership fees
  • Conference registration and travel costs
  • Career development and training
  • Field trips to TV studios and media organizations
  • Scholarships
  • Guest speaker honorariums

Your support will allow more Titans to become official student members of the national organization so they will have access to additional professional development resources and attend national conventions. Additionally, the executive board will be able to plan high-profile events with notable Asian American media professionals.

One lucky CSUF faculty or staff donor who gives before 8 p.m. PST will be randomly chosen to receive an additional $1,000 to the area of their gift!

The cause that brings in the most donors will receive a bonus prize of $5,000 thanks to sponsor PepsiCo. Additional prizes of $3,000 and $2,000 for second and third place, respectively.

Titans Give is sweeping the nation! For every 10 unique states with a Titans Give donor, $2,000 will be unlocked until we reach all 50 states for a total of $10,000.

The participating cause that brings in the most alumni donors will receive a bonus prize of $5,000 thanks to sponsor PepsiCo. Additional prizes of $3,000 and $2,000 for second and third place, respectively.

The participating cause that brings in the most faculty, staff or emeriti donors on Titans Give will receive a bonus prize of $2,500 thanks to sponsor PepsiCo. Additional prizes of $1,500 and $1,000 for second and third place, respectively.

How about an infusion of support to get us started? Thanks to 7 Leaves, gifts starting at midnight will be matched dollar for dollar for a total of $5,000! Eligible for gifts between $5 and $1,000.
